Anastasiya Sergienya

Director, Photographer, Producer, Writer

Anastasiya Sergienya was born in Minsk, Belarus in 1989.

She is professional photographer for a 17 years.

She is also a Television and Film Freelancer since 2017. 

Right now Anastasiya is focusing on Director's position.

In 2012 Anastasiya moved to London to learn English in Wimbledon Language Academy. And in 2013 she successfully passed her exams to Westminster Academy where she studied Business Management.

Anastasiya also finished online courses “Explore Filmmaking: From Script to Screen” at National Film and Television School in London and made one more step to her dream, a move to NYC in 2016.

In NY Anastasiya finished Summer Filmmaking courses at TISCH, NYU and start working in the film industry.

 

Anastasiya received following fellowships: Emerging Content Creators Inclusion Initiative Scholarship (NALIP), Diverse Women in Media Forum Mentorship (NALIP), Wscripted Storyteller Club Fellowship, IDCProfessional Fellowship for Intimacy Coordinator, Belarusian Filmmakers’ Network Incubator, Sundance Collab Online course “Rewriting Your Screenplay and Crafting Your Pitch”.​

In 2023 she had her first US photo exhibition in Belcourt.

On 2020 Anastasiya shot her first short movie "Soyka" (2 successful crowdfunding campaigns, Artist Relief Grant, The Actors Fund, City Artist Corps Grant). Her 2nd short film "You&I" became a Finalist at the Vienna Shorts festival and received the ViewSonic ColorPro Award.

Anastasiya currently in post-production of her 3rd short film Laundromat.
